Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Yummycake.in, we are committed to delivering freshly prepared cakes, cupcakes, flowers, plants, and gift hampers with care. As most of our products are made-to-order and perishable, please review our cancellation and refund policy carefully.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

a. Timeframe for Cancellation

• Orders can be canceled only if they are not out for delivery and preparation has not started.
• You must cancel the order at least 2 to 4 hours or a day before the scheduled delivery time.
• Once the order is out for delivery or preparation has begun, cancellation is not allowed.

b. How to Cancel an Order

  Include your Order ID, registered name, and delivery time for faster processing.

2. Refund Policy

a. When Refunds are Applicable

Refunds will be issued only in the following cases:

• Order was canceled within the eligible window (as stated above).
• Product was not delivered due to service failure from our side.
• Wrong or damaged item delivered (must be reported within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos).

b. When Refunds Are Not Applicable

• Cancellation requested after preparation has begun or after dispatch.
• Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer.
• No response from the recipient at the delivery address.
• Disputes based on taste, design variations, or personal preferences (as all products are handcrafted and may vary slightly).

3. Refund Process

• Eligible refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.
• For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refund (if approved) will be made via UPI or bank transfer after verification.

4. Replacement Policy

• Replacements will only be offered if:
  • Wrong item was delivered
  • Item was delivered in a damaged condition
• The issue must be reported within 2 hours of delivery along with photographic proof.
• Replacements are subject to availability and service feasibility.
